BRICS is a nightmare for the US and G7 says Economist

The alliance between Russia, China, and Iran poses a significant threat to the United States and its allies. According to The Economist magazine, the sanctions imposed by Western states have united these countries against a 'common enemy.' They advocate for a multipolar world that is no longer dominated by the United States.

“All three countries are members of the same international organizations, including the BRICS. Bilateral trade is increasing, and plans are being developed to create duty-free blocs, new payment systems and trade routes that bypass Western-controlled territories. This is a concern for America and its allies,” the authors noted in a March 18 article.

The Economist observed that a “growing anti-Western alliance” can evade sanctions, win military conflicts, and also attract other players to its side.
On March 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin highlighted the alignment of interests between Russia and China as a stabilizing factor in the international arena. He expressed confidence that the two countries will strengthen their relations in the coming years.

On February 29, Russian Ambassador to Tehran Alexey Dedov stated that Russia and Iran are working on a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement, which could be signed soon. The diplomat noted that this agreement will strengthen the existing level of relations between Moscow and Tehran.
Western countries have imposed more sanctions on the Russian Federation due to a special operation to protect the population of Donbass. The Russian President made the decision to start this operation on February 24, 2022, after the situation in the region deteriorated due to Ukrainian shelling.
