Trade turnover between Russia and China has grown by 40% since the beginning of the year

The trade turnover between Russia and China since the beginning of 2023 has grown by 40.6% compared to the same period in 2022, follows from the data of the General Administration of Customs of China.

According to their report, the volume of exports and imports for the specified period amounted to $114.547 billion , while in June the trade turnover exceeded $20.8 billion dollars, Vedomosti reports .

It is specified that since the beginning of the year, China has exported goods to Russia worth about $52.28 billion, which is 78.1% more than in the same period in 2022. At the same time, imports from Russia to China increased by 19.4% and reached $62.26 billion.

Also, according to data from the China Customs Administration, trade between China and the United States decreased by 14.5% compared to the first half of 2022, dropping to $327.26 billion.

Earlier, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the trade turnover between Moscow and Beijing amounted to a record $190 billion in 2022, and should reach $200 billion by the end of this year.
